epic video and whats with the hl2 guy

i loved this video i wish i could rate 1000000000/10 btw whats with the guy from half life 2 with the hat? awnser me if u could?

GDop26 responds:

You know, I just sort of made the hat from scratch, I didn't know it was from Half life. So I'm not entirely sure where the hat came from, so it will forever be a mystery now...

yawn.......

it wasnt the best madness cartoon in the world but it was a little good....... i guess

pretty dang good

so yes i sat through it like u asked and when it started to lag i turned the quality to low and it did nothing so i guess the parts with lag were tiny mess ups in the video but its not a very big deal idk wat happens at the end when the robot changes to its heat cannon but like i said still a rli good flash

Had some doubts about this...

You turned out to have a pretty nifty tribute here, though. A lot of your mechanics were off at first but improved a great deal as the animation progressed. The fluidity of the sword fights was fantastic, especially for your first Madness movie. I didn't even get those down until my third. The effects, though not all were entirely new to Madness (particularly the cloaking device), were pulled off extremely well. I really enjoyed how realistically you got everything in the jeep to bounce along as the protagonist escaped the building. Next time, try to bang it out in 5-6 months. Putting a year and a half into a tribute is just NOT worth it, especially if you're not getting paid to do it.

GDop26 responds:

Yeah I spent a lot of time not just for the tribute. But rather to learn how to use Flash, so there was a lot of innovation involved in the project, so that's why it took so long.

Impressive

I have seen few madness vids made by someone other than the creator himself that truly amazed me. You are one of the few.
Epic Points: Wonderful animations and cool sound effects. Well made blood splatters, and the transformations of the weapon and the robot were a very good (and unique) touch. May I also point out that despite mostly just being more Madness bloodshed, there is a faint trace of storyline behind the whole thing. Liked, too, the "invisible" man animation.

Not So Epic Points: It seems that some of the scenes were missing their skippage button (not that I ever used it). The first couple rooms weren't that great, but it improved from there. May want to separate some scenes from their full backgrounds; scenes six and 16 were incredibly laggy; first time I've ever had to turn down the quality on a fanmade madness short. On the other hand, is that a bad thing?

Overall, I am still very impressed. Way cool! Keep it up, but should've saved this piece of work for madness day.
