Reviews for "Intruded"

Great!

This game is great. The graphics are unheard of and cool, plus the movement is good but needs a little working on for how she moves. The soundtrack is awesome too and fits perfectly. The only thing i would advise is making this more challenging and interesting when the graphics and views aren't as entertaining.

This has potential to be awesome.

But the controls are too glitchy. Sometimes, a tap on the key turns the girl slightly. Other times, a tap on the key turns her 90 or even 180 degrees. Sometimes a tap forward made her go several steps instead of one. This made part 8(?) hard to get thru. You had golden spikes in the wall that you had to weave your way thru; easy enough. But when you can't 'micro-adjust' her angle or how far she goes per step, it made a difficult experience.

This was the case in part 5(?) also, where there are 2 red orbs, and you have your first catwalk to cross. I died several times because it was so hard to get her pointed in the correct direction, and/or she walked off the end with only a tap on the key.

I made it to level 12 and gave up. (I have work I should be doing...) But anyway, the catwalk in this area was so difficult due to the control issues, that it would've been very difficult in itself. In this part, I had the first serious issue with camera angles. The (second) camera was at a bad angle and was too far away to accurately judge what my position and angle were, let alone the spike balls floating around the room. With the control difficulty and the inability to adequately see what I was doing, I called it quits.

I was disappointed that I had to quit too, because the ambiance and mood were great, and the visuals were fantastic. When the first screen came up and said to use the keys to move, I thought, "this is the actual game screen and not a game start graphic?! Wow, nice!" As I played, I felt genuine curiosity and wonder about my environment, and questions about my future. I like the low light scenario. It adds to the feel of the game. The shadowing on the girl often had her front side completely dark, except the eyes, regardless of where the light was. Despite the low light, it would be nice to see her a bit better.

I hope this helps. :)
