Reviews for "SS - The Math of God"

I'm not sure

Being a mathematically though unreligious person, I follow your logic but as some have mentioned, not the conclusions. I think you make a few jumps that are a bit unrealistic, and as many have explained sometimes life just imitates math because of optimization. Math and sequences lead to very wasteless patterns, which nature through darwinism and advancement strives toward.

Still, it is a creative premise, you present you points well despite my disagreeing with them, and the video as a whole is enjoyable to watch.

Pretty damn interesting, but...

You really should mention that almost all of the spiritual(i.e. astral projection, afterlife, higher planes, etc. etc.) is only speculation. Though I admit lucid dreaming exists, I wouldn't say it's an OBE. Mostly because OBEs haven't been proven to exist under any reasonable scientific conditions. It's all written in books by people, and people can be faulty. They can lie and they can have overactive imaginations. While I'm not asking you should stop or discredit your own sources, I do ask you to bring attention to the fact that most of the spiritual data you are presenting is speculation and not scientifically proven facts.

RiverJordan responds:

Science still assumes that consciousness is part of the brain though, which is only because in the 1700's, there was a social movement liberating people from religion and superstition, and we threw many things out of the door that we shouldn't have, namely consciousness. Which is definitely not a brain function. The brain is simply a tuner, like a tv. Because of that, yeah, lots of the stuff I'm talking about isn't scientifically accepted, but I feel they're topics worth discussing regardless. :)

should be called math of cosmos

The Golden Ratio is a manmade tool of mathmatics. Like the word and symbol, infinite. It is only a pseudo phrase that holds no real stability. The animation is excellent.

RiverJordan responds:

Infinite, like fractal geometry, is proof of the infinite universe. Infinitely big and infinitely small.

Urmm

Has anyone herd of Extra Credits? From The Escapist? ... yea. He does this well, i'm not going to co on about the actual content of this piece but you dont have to completly copy his ideas, everything from the voice pitch, flasing the images, even standing on a podium! You can express your ideas but you dont have to directly copy them. Show a bit of intuition :D

Not personly ripping, do enjoy it, but maybe come up with an original presentation?

RiverJordan responds:

So does extra credits deserve to be slandered because before extra credits, people were giving slideshows on podiums with flashing different pictures?

See what you like.

People love to see patterns and they love to make something out of it that really is exaggerated. There are many different patterns in life because life in order to exist has patterns. Molecules in order to combine must settle themselves like sand into a stable position. As far as Mars goes, if you look at the face on mars directly from a different time you can see it doesn't look like a face. (from one angle the Sandia Mountains look like a sleeping elephant. The patterns people see they can credit with God but otherwise it is only in their minds.
Good animation though.
