The Z and X buttons do not work
Though I can tell this is a good game the jump and attack do not work.

Literary paradox win!
At first I thought the game was ridiculously difficult but as they say, "third time's the charm." On my third attempt I got into the rhythm of the game and got the whale to half health with most of my health still intact. Eventually I slipped up though and got dropped to half health by a barrage of water drops, water vacuum, and spiked platforms.
Anyways, the game does require patience and a basic knowledge of platforming and cue recognition. To those who think this game is difficult, I say, go play Ninja Gaiden on the NES, then you can complain.
Great game here, keep up the good work.

Ending was worth it.
Also, this game just puts your platforming skills to the test, so people that be complaining just suck at platform related games.

Hints of something good, but only hints.
It looks nice enough for the time given. But I can't give this a high rating. The actual gameplay is very simplistic and repetitive--reducing the whale's hit points to some fraction of what they are now might be a good idea.
Then again, this is my impression after only a little playthrough. I may change my mind.
I like the voices...
And I understand the game was made in a short amount of time, but it has nothing fun about it. Add some flames to the spears? Make less obstacles for us to deal with and let us kill the damn whale...
