My housemate got me into MC back in 2010. It took an immense degree on willpower to restrict gaming time and finish my degree. My first ever day and night of Minecraft involved not having a clue what to do and hurriedly digging into some dirt as night approached leaving a hole to see when daylight came back.
...I spent around 11 in-game days living out of that hidey-hole. I miss it to this day.
