Reviews for "frog battle"

far from enjoyable

you sometimes get stuck for no reason; I don't seem to get any use of the plasma and missle gun (maybe just lack of info on how to use them); WAY to random due to new spawns (in later levels with full health you can just get unlucky so many times that they just spawn INSIDE of you and you receive an instant hit. No matter how good you are, you can die. That's not the point of that game is it?); Timestop ability sucks hard. You need a full special bar for killing like 5-10 enemies, since your weapon overheats, wtf?and you don't really see much at all during that time. maybe you should change the colors of the projectiles and disable overheating during that time to make it slightly more useful; Sometimes you just don't shoot. especially after overheating. seems like the actual overheating time is slightly longer than displayed. Almost no Info on any of the upgrades; No Story; Really not that much fun sorry.
2 points because I like frogs

Worst game I've played in a while

For a fully functioning game, this is by far one of the worst games I've played in a long time.
First, why is it named 'frog battle?' There are no frogs. This is a tank game.
Second, the first 5 levels or so are ridiculously easy. In fact, it is possible to get 'perfect' bonuses on them on the first try. Then, for some reason, the game becomes impossibly hard. Let me elaborate:

The background and the enemy bullets are often the same green color. This makes it very difficult to actually see the bullets when there are literally hundreds on-screen in later levels.
Enemy tanks take no damage upon collision, but the player loses half their health.
There is not enough money earned in early levels. Even with several perfect bonuses, the game does not offer enough money for the current price levels for upgrades. Inevitably, this forces the player into a particular level that cannot be completed given the time constraints. The sheer amount of enemies could easily be dealt with perfectly had you given the player more time per wave. As is, the player only has about 1-2 seconds per enemy. If your gun overheats, it's not likely you have enough time. If you are patient and aren't trigger happy, you run out of time.

These flaws make an otherwise exciting genre of game into an unplayable disaster.
