Reviews for "The Perfect Fighter"

hmm

The loading time is a killer. Other than that though, it's decent. I would've liked some fresher characters but the ones here are very nice. If you could reduce the freezey glitches this would really have been perfect. Still, great game. Please continue to update and I'll keep enjoying this great game

Medals, please!!!

need some work, but

has potential to be a great game.

play control is biggest problem.

i like the unique idea of using arrow keys with calculator pad.

however, the response was a bit too slow in some areas and too sensitive in others (commands would pile up and execute back to back when they werent my intention).

good luck! i think you have a potential hit here!

pretty - but not that original

I normally shy away from flash/pc based fighters due to the fact that I believe the keyboard to be a poor means of control in this style of games - and I think my level of enjoyment on this game suffered because of it. I will not fault the creator for this - but I would suggest keyboard rather than the number pad might be less awkward. The sprites, animations, and textures are beautifully rendered but none seem to be original or innovative. I know that it is hard to come up with a concept/character template that hasnt been used in Street Fighter, Tekken, or Mortal Kombat...but many of the characters came off to me as rather poorly concealed knockoffs of characters from the aforementioned games.

I think that on the merits of a flash fighting game he did better than most. Most people either make something ugly and unplayable,or an almost passable game but suffers from a odd control scheme that may or may not be changeable. He had to simplify a lot of the game-play or else the moves would be too complex to use a keyboard and require odd timing and a little guess work. Sure this might be a copy of a beloved franchise, but he at least made a playable game. The game didn't freeze on me either.
