I don't know what that last guy's problem was. You got the pronounciation right. It's pronounced Bass (music) since Bass's robo dog's name is treble.

Great movie BUT it's pronounced Bass (fish). It says so in the Mega Man & Bass commercial AND in Mega Man 8! Since that's the only OFFICIAL proof we have, it is pronounced Bass (fish).

I think it's funny that the guy right before me, is so ignorant about the pronunciation of Bass.
Look at it this way, In the English versions of the game, his dog is called Trebble, so why wouldn't it be pronounced "BASE" as in the low frequency sound produced by a sub woofer?
Besides it doesn't matter, in the Japanese versions his name is Forte!

Um....Bass is pronounced "Bass". If you've watched the FMV's from MM7, Megaman clearly calls him Bass, not Base, Bass, although I guess you could pronounce it that way....
