Reviews for "Stars Fell in Illinois"

nice title, better than the content sorry

my eyes hurt X_X watching dark screen with only speck of light , but i watched it to the end.
a nice job bringing to life the street lamp(it looked alive) , it had moment of loneliness ,searching ,hoping, meeting (mailbox),nervousness and hesitation on what to do,...and... friendship?
i think it is consistent from the beginning to the end ,although the middle is kindda boring, diff ppl might grasp this flash differently well thats what this flash was aiming for right? ^^ so im gonna give it 9 cuz my eyes hurt ,theres no need to make it that dark...or maybe its just my eyes lol
nice job overall :)

Lazymodecomics responds:

It's not your eyes, it's bad video quality.

A nice flick, and yet...

...I don't quite know what to take away from it. We get that the street light was lonely, and that the mailbox was keeping it company, but it honestly doesn't seem like things got any better once they were next to each other.

Is there supposed to be a message "through" that?

If so, I couldn't find it, but I do appreciate the effort you put into trying to create a "symbolic" flash. Keep up the good work.

3/5

Lazymodecomics responds:

Haha, thanks.

aww. That reminds me of my old online boyfriend.

Nicely done.

Awwwww~

While it does look a bit dated, the vid looks WONDERFUL. The music flows well with the animation and the objects seem to have life to them, not just moving around. I can't help but think that the street lamp is a distant relative of the Pixar desk lamp X3 You did a great job on this. I hope your teacher digs it!

Good but...

Had decent animation has a nice sound to go along with the movie and over all pretty good quality but... Exatly what was the message or was there one and you just did this to get a grade?

Lazymodecomics responds:

I don't care about grades and if the message isn't clear to you, I either didn't do my job in creating this or you're just not very perceptive.
