Reviews for "SS - The Flower of Life"

alright...

okay that was admititly interesting, and I am quite skeptical of this kinda thing, however it is intreguing nevertheless, I just remembered the othe rday that I do think that the mind can influence a lot (playing a slot machine game) I once read a book, "dogs who know when their owners are coming home" which got into a lot of the psychic stuff, and had some I don't really want to say proof but evidence of the mind affecting things. I would recomend that book to the author here. Though I think that what you should do, rather than releasing an episode everyweek that is cut short, that you should turn down the animations so you can get more info in, though this one did kinda need the animations. I know that I will always dismiss a lot of this kinda stuff as I am very religious, and I would recomend people to read at least the new testament of the Bible before putting 100% faith in this kinda thing, I mean some of it is cool, I can't really disagree with it and you did your research. However as you responded to another review, I have seen pictures of some guy who is able to draw giant pictures in the desert using a vehicle of some sort. So crop circles could be man-made, and what gets me with those is why would the aliens draw us a picture, rather than just beaming down to earth? And how are they so much more advanced than us? But back to the show, I have to say that you do have the research done, but I think that you tend to be a little too choppy on it, I don't know if its due to flash restictions or if you just don't have the time for it, but so far, your episodes have only been on a bigger picture, nothing super specific or in depth about it, I wouldn't want to sit through some grueling hour long presentation on shapes but I think you could do an overview that includes more things. Good job on this one. (I can't tell if I'm being a hypocrite or not...)

RiverJordan responds:

Yeah i understand how this stuff wouldn't make sense just yet, theres still alot of material to cover, I am getting to it all though, and in time this will make more and more sense, clearer and clearer

Entertaining

Whether people believe in these theories or not I have to say I'm impressed with the level of knowledge you portray. Science, history, philosophy and religion usually don't mix but you seem to have a medial grasp on all subjects which is commendable.

What I would say is a lot of your theories are open to interpretation and not 100% factual although you make a good case for them to be. I doubt many people will necessarily have an eureka moment after watching this but I'm sure it will fascinate in equal measures.

I'll give you 9/10 for the subject matter but you get deducted a point for bringing up crop circles. Really could've done without

NOICE

Its a shame people here are unwillingly to extend themselves into metaphysical realms of understanding, however the dilemna they all have with your work is apparent. In the realm of metaphysics, especially this kind, scientific method is missing. You, specifically, I have noticed, tend to either forget to tie everything into everything geometricially i.e. make sure that everypoint you make is verified by every point you have already made, or you simply acknowledge that its really hard to do so and thus must give us this extremely well rounded and very well done presentation. I look forward to more, but I heavily suggest that you tie some of the points you make back to one another far more often, even to the extent of doing so every time you state a point or give a relation. It would be most appreciated and improve the quality of these presentations to a ten+. Keep on going, Im liking these! :D

About the Elements...

I don't see how the elements can really have "shape" since electrons, protons, and neutrons aren't really there, they are fluctuations of charge, electrons being negative, protons positive and neutrons balanced. not to pick and choose, but the Swastika also appeared in many places around the world from japan to the roman empire to the catholic church until it was deemed unclean because of the Nazis. the only thing recurring symbols would seem to suggest is that mankind has a common ancestry, which falls in line with most theories regarding our origins be it evolution or the garden of Eden. very thought provoking and certainly a lot of it is plausible (and well-presented) but a large portion of this can be explained in a vast number of ways. Kudos for sharing.

RiverJordan responds:

The subatomic particles that create protons, electrons and neutrons are formed in these shapes, if you look at what creates those, you get the flower of life.

Interesting stuff

I did quite enjoy watching this, as some of the points made about the geometry and mathematical precision of the universe were very interesting. However, I don't really think that it necessarily means that some spirit moved around in a circle to create everything. There are mindblowing patterns out there, but don't take the attitude that it must mean one thing.
