Reviews for "Nocturne nr.5 in C-sharp minor"

A beautiful piano piece :D. This piece packs alot of emotion I can really feel the picture from it :D.
Sound like something one of the great composers of the old days like Mozart would make.
Didn't expect to find such a masterpiece in the A.I.M :D.
Having a really hard time findig faults in such a beautiful composistion :D.

This review made my day even brighter then it already was! Thanks for writing this nice review, and for following me!

In its simplicity, there's a beauty that shines like a diamond in the desert. This piece is fantastic, it has everything it needs to provoke an emotional response from the audience, reminding me of Chopin's nocturnes so much it's almost a crime. The somber sound of a lonely piano, like clockwork behind a broken glass.

There's honestly nothing I could really nitpick about this. If anything, you could try to bring more variety to the structure and leave space for more variations. perhaps by introducing an additional theme that could intensify the drama, it would have been a welcomed element in your otherwise nicely performed composition.

Woa, nice! Thanks for taking time to review the piece. I'm trying to use more variety in my next piano pieces for sure.

Really enjoyable piece of music.

Thanks alot! ;)

This is beautiful, the tone and use of sustain is perfect for such a song, personally I would have added more runs to the melody played by the right hand and more complexity to the chords and progressions played by the left, but sometimes the illusion of simplisty works just as well! This is a masterpiece among compositions, great job!

Hi Metro! Thanks so much ;)

I really like this piece and think you did a great job. May I ask what you're using for the piano sound (as in which VST, soundfont, etc.)? It sounds really nice.

newhansen responds:

Hi Jesse, thanks for listening! VST used is the East West Bosendorfer. It has this dreamy sound which I use for all my solo piano songs. in the future, I might experiment with real piano & mics, cause i really do miss the dual mic stereo effect.
