Reviews for "Hue Runner"

Great Game

I really enjoy your game a lot. The concept reminds me a lot of Canabalt, but still has it's own unique look and feel to it. The "enemies" that cause the screen to shake can get a little distracting at times, but it adds to the game and makes it more amusing. The only real suggestion I have is Newgrounds medals. I was a little disappointed that achievements were exclusive to another site and that NG medals weren't supported.

Not bad

Although the concept too ka few minutes to get used to as well. Another thing is if you are going to make the music speed up into a rhythm then have the character speed up as well to make it just as challenging and fun since it does not seem as fun when the music speeds up and you do not.

The game play was alright but hard to get used to at first and took a few minutes to get used to working with which was alright I suppose anyways. The audio used was pretty cool so nice choice in music I suppose. The background looked alright as well but would be cool if it changed to a light color of whatever color the character had changed to to make it intriguing.

Overall, good game, the only problem I ever encountered was sometimes I fell through even though I had changed to the right color.

FuzzyMint responds:

Thanks for the feedback SCTE3, you have to change colors before you land on the block, otherwise you will fall through.

Good Work

It isnt exactly a new idea, but it was executed well. The artwork is good, the music was good, and the gameplay was fine. Nothing here really blew my mind, but in the end you created a decent and passable flash. Well Done!

FuzzyMint responds:

Thanks for your feedback, I tried to combine elements from some of my favorite games into one game.

Was good for first while.

I mean it's a fairly simple game, and used quite often but still offered some fun. if there was more music diversity and check points it would be a whole lot better.

Thanks for your feedback, I tried to keep it simple and fun!
