Reviews for "Madness: Activation"

VERY epic!

I love the visual style, the plot, the animation, and i didnt have to lower the quality so i got to watch it in its full awesomeness =) KEEP MAKIN MORE!! Maybe along the same plotline i thnk? The premise for Active's powers is very cool, and you can that not only did u put alot of effort into this, but your heart was right there with it and the full capacity of your obviously superior imagination. KUDOS TO YOU SIR AND I SAY AGAIN KEEP MAKIN MORE!!!

tomtyke responds:

why thank you :D

i am working on madness activation 2.0, and i currently have 1000+ frames

Very nice

you gave the character an actual reason to go on his rampage, plus i really like how his speed is shown with the fading away with only his outline moving. full ten stars man. you earned it.

tomtyke responds:

thanks, im glad so many people enjoyed it :D

Nice man, perfect

Great graphics, great music, just about perfect everything. Think the epilogue was the best, especially the end of it, when the guy throws that other one out of the car. Great :P

tomtyke responds:

personally i prefer it when he cuts the leet in half, and my second is when he lands on the agent after he jumps out the window :D

Quite enjoyable!

I quite liked your animation style and attention to detail. Great plot as well, something I haven't seen before, and something more so original than many others.
Though a review, in my opinion, should also critique the author's work, give them something to think about, not just give comments at how truly awesome the video is. So, let's nitpick :)
I don't know about others, but I had a hard time reading the text because it would flash up, and I would always get to about the second or third last word before it disappeared, so I had to watch it through a second time (not a bad thing, either) just to get the full sense of what you intended.
Also, at one point, in one of the battle scenes with many people, I noticed one person standing in the background, watching his team get slaughtered, not really doing anything. He continued standing like this as he himself was killed. Just some food for thought.
Anyways, great video, and congratz on the front page! Well deserved!

tomtyke responds:

i did try to minimize the mooks loafing around , but there's just the point where there's nothing more you can waste their time on, that's just poor choreographing on my part

Impressive!

The madness feeling is strong here. You really got the true Krinkels style down, and I especially like your attention to detail regarding the areas hes in. That lock on the cabinet for instance added a sense of physics to the animation.

A great homage to the original series and it could honestly be a spin-off from the man himself.

Great work!

tomtyke responds:

not really a spin off, it's set in an entirely different world, i have actually changed the characters in the one im working on now, such as the leets to further emphasize this, i'm trying to do something new, not retread old territory
