medals no longer work.
It was rather irritating that I couldn't pick up items until certain events were triggered, such as the building of the boat. I was right next to the cloth and could have picked it up, but no... I had to wait and then be forced to backtrack for no reason. It's a cheap tactic to make very short games seem longer by making the player spend more time running back and forth than doing anything else. The music became extremely irritating after a while, but luckily there was a mute button.
The graphics and animation were great, which is what saved this game from becoming a total bust.
That was a fun adventure. :) It's nice that the items you get are mostly part of a logical chain of events as well, apart from the ones not really seen until you get them. The start is really the only part where there's nothing to look at that you need to use, but after that it's a combination of fun and logic. Good game!
