Yeah that was awesome. How about you fucking finish making Tarboy 2 now?
Even if you thought it was a nightmare to do...
Just know that the detail was simply astounding. Especially when the character was walking and the camera was close in.
My take:
The protagonist, a female (based on chest, lips, eyes, etc), is in Heaven. The apple is representative of her sins (might or might not be the forbidden fruit Eve ate). In order for a place in Heaven, she must come to terms and accept what she has done. However, she was scared and couldn't bring herself to bear. She is cast out of Heaven, into a sort of Purgatory. After wandering for perhaps eons, she remembers her fall from possible Grace. She then encounters a sort of Hell, tormenting her and tempting her again with the apple. She braves, and decides to come to acceptance down there. However, as she tries to move on, Heaven sends its Chains, and what becomes of her, whether good or bad, I cannot guess.

I might be wrong about this but I think that this film shows how it feels dealing with anorexia and the emotions and the thoughts of being controlled by it(the neck ring). I started thinking this way when I saw in the beginning when someone was trying to give an apple to the girl and she was scared of it.
