Reviews for "PRIOR"

Very good!

This was a very enjoyable game, the story was amazing and the gameplay was simple but it works!

Very good work! 10/10 * for you!

Great Game.

I was able to have three different endings when I played it. It was very good and the music was constantly giving chills down my spine.

Errr.........Glitch

Dude heres a glitch in the game if you keep on pressing R and then going to Dilemma and then you got a bunch of the block guys or main character or whatever it is any way overall good game.

Simple, engaging, and immersive

!!Possible Spoiler Warning!!

It's been a while since I've seen a well executed game of this style, and I'd like to start off by saying thank you for producing this game. It brought me back to my early days of gaming with it's uncommon blend of adventure and storytelling.

--Gameplay--
Great, simple, and effective construction for an adventure game. The progression through the map was well paced for the game's size, keeping me motivated to get through the next few rooms to find the next button or upgrade, but without simply throwing them at me like they meant nothing. The controls are simple enough for any player to use, and the Null Grav control added a small challenge that I found fun to master. The physics and kinetics for the game were smooth and, for the most part, seamless.
Score: 10/10

--Story--
My absolute favorite element of this game. The story intrigued me with every tiny revelation. Every time I read another note I wanted to frantically rush to the next one to see if it would shed light on the last. The three cliffhanger endings are perfect. The game tells enough story for the player to gain a fair grasp of what had happened to the character and what had happened in the world, but leaves the rest to the player's imagination. After finishing the first play-through, I immediately played 2 more times to get the other two endings. Were the game any bigger, I would recommend that the story be presented in larger pieces, further apart; however, it worked well for the conditions.
Score: 10/10

--Visuals--
The visuals of Prior are simplistic, but done so in a mildly stylish manner. From the character design to the font choice, all of the visual elements came together to form a solid theme that doesn't distract with many small and noisy details, allowing the player to take in the big picture much easier. I take off one point only because I wish some of the backgrounds and illustrations had been given a little more attention.
Score: 9/10

--Audio--
The ambiance chosen for the background audio of the game was an excellent choice and well produced to boot. It provided the ideal atmosphere to complement the setting. It gave me a sense of drifting, like being lost in the compound with the character.
Score: 10/10

Great game

Keep it up.
