Reviews for "Color Cleaner"

Not working for me

I did't get a chance to play because the mouse kept disappearing on me. I tried refreshing and it happened again. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Strong mechanics, rather dull.

Well, this clearly shows a progression in your game making skills, and that is good. Keep in mind that what I write is to help the creator(s) of the game improve.

Mechanics: 10/10. This game has a stable, two-dimensional physics-based element, and this element is crucial to being able to play the game.

Entertainment: 7/10. While good for killing time or resting one's brain after studying, this submission offers no incentive or motive for playing other than a utilitarian mastery of the falling patterns of small objects. Many levels have been used before in games similar to this one. (Although, I by no means desire to state you're copying other games, it's just that this game type has been done so many times within the last decade that certain overlaps are nearly unavoidable.)

Atmosphere: 4/10. Effectively serving as an annoying reminder that the game appears to be rather static, the one song totally betrays the game as a whole. The song is too modified to be a convincing child's song, but any attempt to be creepy is negated by the boring blue background and the bright color scheme used for the interactive pieces.

Another review has stated that this game is "Yet another template primitive collision game. Give it a chance, play at least 6 levels, and you'll realise you've played the exact same thing a hundred times before." (Mikeyrt16). While not totally true, the thought did linger in my mind from the beginning.

Overall, the game has a strong mechanical backbone but is severely lacking in elements that set it apart from other physics/collision games.

Meh

Pretty simple easy as hell Music sucky it ok to play

Not all that great

its fun, interesting, but the music is creepy somehow to me (maybe its because of NG) and the gameplay doesn't seem to have lasting appeal to it, but its a worthy effort.

A fun game, a bad headache.

Okay. Here is the overall rating and Review.
Gameplay- A somewhat fun gameplay in the beginning, but it got kind of old. It was challenging and some levels had me stumped for awhile. Although this is what I like in a flash game, this is not the best. The levels are repetitive, the game has the bouncing object effect, so if you're a speed player you may have to redo some levels, and just about every level I was thinking how this could be more challenging, even with the exact same playing shapes. The gameplay gets a 6.5/10
Lasting Appeal: This game got boring at about level 15. If I could recommend something, don't keep playing in hopes that it will get more interesting on the level you find boring, because after level 15, it all went downhill from there. If you ended this game at an earlier level, this game may have gotten a higher rating. The lasting appeal gets a 6/10
Graphics: The graphics are quite good for a flash game I like the smooth lines and the filled color. Graphics get a 7.5/10
Music/Sound: The music was annoying. It gave me a huge headache and finally I just muted it. 4.5/10
Overall game: The overall game is mediocre, but it has potential to be better. , Better music, more interesting graphics (these were good, but kind of boring), a more interesting gameplay, perhaps with small messages on the wall, and maybe an actual purpose of the game. The overall game gets a 6/10. Try harder buddy, you have the coding part done, just think of more unique and interesting game. Don't give up though, your work has potential!
