1 minor criticism.
I really enjoyed the game. Art and gameplay were fine, and I even enjoyed the song. The one thing I would change would be the duration of the dash move. As it is now once you build up 4 acorns you can pretty much stay invulnerable to the end of the level. If you shorten it a little so you have to time it just right to destroy the obstacles I think it would add a little more challenge to the game.

I personally loved Robot Unicorn. I know it isn't the first to do a game like this, but it's the first thing that came to my head. Also the game had a very Crash Bandicoot feel to it. I think it was because of all the weird obstacles and deaths. My only pet peeve about it is that, besides distance mode, it's pretty short. I was hoping to see more random enemies (Giant Mutant Crab maybe?) And maybe more items that you can hop on to, similar to the spring in the space stage. Heres hoping for another one of these. *raises wine glass*

Although, I have a critique for the animator, JordanD.
In a game where the players get to see an animation cycle for all of the game, maybe try to polish a little more the animation of the main character? The squirrel does not have a constant volume through the cycle and I must say it gets quite distracting and annoying. The body stretched way beyond normal and the rear gets almost 2 times bigger. The tail becomes longer and needs some touch ups for the fluidity.
But hey, these are things to watch out for. Some people won't see these errors, others won't care, but to fix these is the difference between a simple animation and a very good one, even if its just a cycle.
