How To Play Cactus McCoy (Again...)
Since for some reason Newgrounds Player has problems loading the game, here is a quick and easy alt to play the game on your desktop like the player...
1. Download Adobe Flash Player of any version: There are plenty of ways to find it, shouldn't be too hard (Just Avoid Sketchy Sites, That's a one-way ticket to getting a virus!)
2. Find the Newgrounds.SWF: Right Click on the page and select "View Page Source", once selected, a tab will show up with the page source. Next, press "Ctrl + F", which will pull up the word searcher. With the searcher open, type "ungrounded", it will find that word and you should see it immediately. Next, close where you found the word "ungrounded", which should be the word "url", with your mouse, highlight where the " begins (https), and highlight until you reach the ending " (in this case, a random numbers where the last number is 2).
3. Download the .SWF: Now with the whole strand of code highlighted, copy it with a right click (and or just press "Ctrl + C), then after copying it, open up a new tab in your browser and paste it into your top search bar and press enter. Once that is done, the browser should automatically start asking where you want to download the .SWF, do it where ever you prefer (usually it's safe to just download it to your desktop).
4. Start Playing The Flash Game: With both the Flash Player of any version (mine is 29) and the .SWF installed and downloaded to your PC, open up the Flash Player. Once opened, Select the "File" tab in the player. Next, Select "Open..." in the "File" tab. The player will start asking you for the .SWF, so in that case, Select "Browse...". The player will open up your file explore, so now just find where you downloaded your .SWF and click on it once you found it.
5. Enjoy The Game: Congratulations NewGrounder, if you have done everything correctly, Cactus McCoy should start up on your PC and you should be able to play it, even without the Internet.
This method should work with any NewGrounds game that you are having trouble playing with the NewGrounds Player. The same applies to any Flash Game that is on another website, just replace "ungrounded" with ".swf" and it should work the same.
