simpel but good enough
Just a basic and simpel game. not worth a 2 not worth a 10. There are already enough of those morrons who easily give a 10 for shit. The wave 50 medal.. i think it's not even possible. Unless u are prepared to play hours (what most wont do anyway).
other thing. Only press space the moment they take your gold. Exactly at the sec they take it you must stand opposite direction of them and press space. nothing else. Easy right?
It needed an improvement
I didn't like the fact you could only scare the robbers when they had the gold, I'd prefer you can scare them anytime, and just have more of them come around, ya know? It was an alright game, only played for 10-15 minutes but would play again!
That was weird
It's funny to play a game in the third NG Game Jam that later got medals! With that being said, this was hard to enjoy because it was just so confusing to play. The weirdest thing was how you killed someone. I guess you just pressed the spacebar, but it seemed to be a lot more complicated than that. At least you guys put in some instructions in the author comments. You could have also thrown in some more detail and better use of pixels and stuff.
Of course, this was made in a limited amount of time, so it's hard to suggest things to make it better. I guess you could put in a background and some more detail in everything. The sounds were really weird, but kind of made the game fun. I hope you had a great time with this game jam. It is really a way of showing off how someone possesses their own style.
error in your programming
im guessing you put it to change wave when XX/XX is reached right? well i had 16/17 on wave 8, then killed 2 men at the same time and guess what, it got up to 70/17 and no wave 8, you could do = to and larger to fix it
Well you did it alright...
You know, I'm not mad because I didn't get to do any work or getting to actually help make a game. I'm just upset that I allowed myself to be pushed out of this little escapade. Now, I'm not blaming you Shizzle, your not a bad guy. But Spikrodd on the other hand. Who do you think you are? Your assigned to a team to be their "musician" and you end up taking over almost the entire project! What kind of asshole signs up for a team and then says, "Hey, I know you guys are the artist, but I feel that I can do your job better than you." And there isn't even any fucking music!! What the hell were you doing. The art could have took maybe one day. Less even. Yet you still didn't even do the job you were originally assigned to do? I can't understand what kind of self-centered ass could possibly do this without and inch of remorse?!? No thank you either! I know me and Renaenae didn't do much, (mainly cause you didn't let us) but we could have said something!!! I fucking PRAY that no one is ever unlucky enough to be paired with you again.
Also, on actual matters of the game. This game sucks. It's so boring. Also, so bland. The music sucks (wait there isn't any) and the concept is so stupid. Programming was pretty good, but the artwork was shit. Great job Shizzle, can't wait to see more work from you. Can't say I feel the same for you though Spikrodd.
