Nice game here

I love the idea of the game but what I really liked even more was the pixel element and detail of the game graphics, the game itself seemed easy and could use some harder levels and more features to keep the player interested but for the mostpart this was pretty fun

~X~

Poor graphic the same with gameply... and you need read instruction to know tht dragon? should face enemy with gold not just stand near him to eliminate.

I think you made a small mistake. A "48h" jam presumes games are to be MADE in 48h, not PLAYED for that time. Waves gets longer with each passing. And goes on and on.

No pause button, either. Fine, we use right-click to fill that gap, but that prevents using the browser and the computer for anything else. would it cost so many time to implement a PAUSE BUTTON?

Data isn't saved. Coupled with the large amount of time required to reach wave 50 and no pausing, makes it even more undesirable.

Now, for the deal breaker: **** CODE. That's right, you code stinks. You made waves based on number of enemies defeated. You made it possible for double kill (and probably triple, too). This makes it possible to go over the limit and reach, for example, "11/10" enemies defeated, which ultimately prevents advance in the game and - oh, yes! - the shiny 100 point medal.

Gameplay: Considering all of the above, it becomes clear that the experience is terrible. The main premise (run sideways smiting robbers only after they get a portion of gold) isn't enough. The game gets boring VERY QUICKLY.

About the graphics, music and overall style: They're ok, I guess, and probably the only thing that you actually got right. Also the reason you are actually getting half a star instead of nothing.

Bottom line: This game is very close to pure, complete garbage. Having 48h to put it up is no excuse, either, because other jammers (some first time!) do very fine games that, as simple as they are, provide an amazing experience and actually entertain their audience. I always ramp up scores for jam submissions because I know how stressful deadlines are, btw. Not stressful enough to prevent implementation of a simple pause button, though.

I'm playing it ONLY for the medals (ATM, only the last one - thanks to you and your trashcode, I did a double kill and got stuck on my game after wave 20). After I get the last medal (wave 50) I'll wipe my cache and recent history to never have to see this again. Good day.

really fun game but it's a little too easy all you do is stand right by the chest and hit space the second they grab your gold made it to wave 16 without losing a single peice of gold then i got bored with the game but it still is a really fun game just not something i would waste and hour and a half on to get the wave 50 medal :)

cool
