Awesome for something mae in 48 hours

Short and addictive. Don't listen to people whining about how "hard" this game is (they're just not from the nintendo-hard generation :P), I noticed you put in a kind of countermeasure to losing inva-I mean DEFENDERS by letting the rest fire more often and more powerful, so even 1 defender can wreak immense havoc while having an easy time dodging. The main difficulty was when the slow bullets and mines fill the screen and there are 5 rockets chasing your fleet, but everyone who has been through a danmaku/bullet hell game a la Raiden (or dare I say it? Tohou!) can get through that easily - not without losses, but you only need 1 Defender alive to win. My only complaint is it could have had better (maybe space invader-ish) sounds or music to go with it and maybe even the "player" cannon from the original as final boss of sorts!

It's OK...

Just a tad bit too short and unentertaining (kind of boring...). I liked the war philosophy and the way the game progresses, just could've done with some more levels...

I like the game but there is somathing missing... MUSIC!! It needs music.

There is *some* music; in fact I put a bit of time into the aural landscape to give the game some "soul". Others have had problems with the sound being muted at the start. Try pressing the plus key on the menu to raise the volume.

It was an interesting and fun game with a great concept but the execution was flawed. The movement area has already been discussed but I found an issue with the idea as a whole. Ok so it seemed like when I was a larger group of Invaders I was a easier target and had worse aim... as soon as I got it down to one Invader I was able to dodge pretty much everything and move and shoot fast as hell. I took a building down in mere seconds as opposed to 15-20 seconds as a large group. But then again there was a huge issue with bullets going through an enemy and not doing any damage as a single Invader. You had to move vertically to do any damage which made no sense to me.

I said it before it was a great concept and very fun but had too many issues to deserve more than one playthough.
