Reviews for "Miragine War!"

The game mechanics are simple. Not difficult. Fun.

What unit you choose in your current round directly effects how much money you have in the next. So choosing cheap units that give lots of income will eventually make you stronger, Regardless. Not being able to figure out what units your opponent will send out? Do they have lots of surviving units of a certain type? Is their Armour light? Send out the samurai bitches. Heavy? Reg swordsmen.
Then later on apprentices or ninjas for every other light wave.... Then once you have enough spare money (Like. 3 k surviving from the last wave.) Send out dread lords and win.

finally

took me forever, but i finally beat abyss mode.
i like the tug-of-war style strategy, very casual.
the units were cool and each truly did feel different.
good job overall, but i'm getting tired of hearing that music.
i just mute it and go on youtube :P

Concept needs work.

Ultimately impossible to win because there is no meaningful way to predict what the computer will choose. Similarly, I have won/lost "rounds" based on whether or not my guys deploy in a meaningful way or just run into each other. No manual control over formation == no strategy in this kind of paper/scissors/rock game. Anyone who "wins" is merely lucky.

Reminds me of a StarCraft map I used to play, Knights of the Round table. Again, in that game, the key to victory was unit placement-- that's what made it enjoyable and strategic instead of frustratingly arbitrary.

Try again, this is a solid concept, just needs the kinks pounded out.
