Reviews for "Dungeon Dice"

just need 'luck'

creative gameplay... but it's too easy and boring...
you just need to depend on your 'luck' and.. voila ! you're win... :P

Not bad,

a little more skill besides placing the magic thingies at random... a tiny problem i just wanted to say is how you can roll a 6 but if you roll a 2 in the space that the roll again if it's 2 or under, it will roll for no reason- this just wastes mp...thats all

Dice system needs work.

Once I got into having 3 dice and fighting monsters with three dice there were way too many ties, and I ended up taking as much damage as the monsters in most fights, or even more. That shouldn't happen, because I get to reroll most of my 1's and 2's, but on most of my high rolls the monsters had a 5 or a 6.

A better system, in my opinion, would take the sum of the dice, divide it by the smallest dice pool in use, and use that for the comparison. So, if the monster and the player were using 3 dice, then you divide both sums by 3 and compare them. If the monster was using 2 dice, but the player 3, then you divide both sums by 2. You still get an advantage for having more dice, you'll have fewer ties, and you'll avoid the ties where the player rolls three 6's and the monster rolls one 6.

Best dice game in a long time.

I really like the concept for this, as well as the gameplay.
If you and Joe do make a sequel, you could add a ton of elements; for example a jackpot roll if all the numbers are the same. More spells, bigger dungeons, the works. My once complaint; although it suprisingly didn't hinder my gameplay, was the noted worry that I wouldn't be able to significantly increase my health bar. Not a big deal in this; but if you make a Dungeon Dice 2, puh-lease don't do that. That being said, I'll wave the random number dice thing; it's to be expected of a random generator. So all in all, your concept and game elements were spot on in giving you the nine; the one point would probably be aesthetics. I mean, I know it was a small project, so lenience is key, however better maze art would be nice. Thanks for the great tame.

Too short

I had a lot of fun playing this game, too short for me to feel satisfied, now im gonna have to go gamble, thanks a bunch!!
