CaptinAwesome used REVIEW. It's Not Very Effective
Pokemon (Pocket Monsters if you really have no imagination), surely gave most of us a warehouse full of memories. However little that most us knew at the time, that despite our best wishes, the world of Pokemon was already in our world. They were just called 'animals'.
This trainer had a pretty interesting starting premise on his side as he traveled down his way from [Insert Name of Small Beginning Town Here] to be the very best like no one ever was, but sadly doesn't go really far with it. Afterwards he just goes down the same Route Parody to get to Comedy Town that every trainer goes down, using the same old jokes, complaints, observations, etc and such that's been told dozens of times before and much better such as the hit web comic series 'Super Effective'.
The other versions are certainly much more easier to see and hear. The animation was drawn out almost like it was drawn by a kindergardener, but that was excusable because that actually really made the flash much more funnier; however it seemed that like a hyperactive tododile hooked on rare candies and SPD UPs, this movie just didn't want to stand still! Scenes were practically flying all over the place, making it hard and even next to impossible to read all the subtle jokes hidden in the background. I still to this day can't read what the text says underneath 'snake' despite replaying it multiple times! The audio is a bit less excusable, simply because it is too quiet to really hear everything, although even the stuff I did hear, the characters seemed to have the same voice range as the next one.
The only unique thing he had up his sleeve was the inclusion of 'Gangsta Brock' with the brilliant yet obvious observation of him having an octagon-shaped head and constantly complaining of his lack of sight thanks to his drawn Chinese style eyes. He's the main reason that I was laughing at this flash.
Despite all those efforts however, there isn't really anything strong about this that hasn't been seen before, so in essence this trainer for now is whited out. If he's planning on releasing another episode of this as he plans to, I suggest he goes out to the fields and walk back and forth and train his skills some more or else he'll never stand a chance to obtain the Newgrounds Badge.
