not bad....

i would like to have had sound though..... and no world industries did not come up with that warning.... it is a common warning used for many years before skaters got a hold of it... hehe... any who.... i was confused on one thing..... was that a goth chick on the movie or a baby bat? (seemed more baby bat to me( let me guess.... your favorite bands are marilyn manson and skinny puppy right?? heheheheheheheheheheheh!#@!#!@ #@@#! i love baby bats they r soooooo funny

Good Ideas and Style, But Drags A Lot

Nice character design. The Goth Girl and the Therapist were really well done. I found it interesting how you used a dfferent art style to display each of their personalities.

The girl who got fried and her friend could have been designed much better. Unlike the other characters they didn't make any sort of visual impression at all. There isn't a real dramatic punch to the spider girl's death because the audience isn't really influenced to like or dislike her.

Please don't use so many zooms-ins or outs. And when you do use them, they shouldn't last more than two or three seconds. Same with fades. It's very monotonous watching a character's face slowly get bigger and bigger.

The dialoge pacing could be tweaked a bit as well. There was way too much delay between lines. The Goth Girl's lines are pretty short anyway, so even slow readers shouldn't have trouble following her.

Some people might have trouble following the therapist's lines because of their length. But they'd be improved with some cutting anyway. The audience is much more interested in hearing Goth Girl talk, so try not to let the secondary characters rattle on too long.

Matazone responds:

Yep, you make some very fair points there. This was made pretty early in my career and I wasn't so aware of the differences that different speed PCs would make to the pacing of the animation. While it runs at a reasonable rate and smoothly on mine, on a slower machine things like the fades and zooms can really drag out.

I've learnt these lessons now... I really should put one of the latest animations in this series on here so people have something to use as a comparison.

Cheers for the good feedback, it's nice to see people taking the time to give constructive critiques.

do you know what sound is?

the flash was ok, but i would have been better whit some sounds and stuff

*shrugs*

kinna lost interst in it..... cause theres no sound

This is a good start for the series... But...

The frame rate was very smooth; speed didn't bother me; that part where she said her father was Satan was somewhat funny, but if you've had added her voice and let her mouth be able to move to what she was saying would probably get it to be more humorous, that part where she killed that spider was a little odd, I dislike being around spiders too, but I don’t smash or incinerate them thoroughly, LoL, dark background music would be a good thing, it would be nicer is she was a little more animated, and I wish you the best of luck on the rest of the series.
