for a comedic sprite film
it's animation obviously isn't key, since you didn't draw anything, but placed already made sprites. but, that's not bad. it was a good simple comedic sketch. i enjoyed the 1st part the best. you sort of portrayed mario as some ego-maniac. the last sketch i forgot the reference though. it's not you, it's me. i just cannot remember at what game was the weird council waiting for him in.
Well, here's the thing.
The animation side of it is solid besides getting the lip movement right, but I think what made it not as enjoyable for me personally was the voice acting and writing. It just sounds like either Antfish was trying too hard, or the writing just wasn't enough :-/ I got a few laughs here and there, I just wish mario wasn't temporarily possessed by spongebob squarepants :)
It's not perfect, but it's amusing little short and worth a look.

I like the sprite animation but well....its wasnt really that funny and im baffled how it got the daily number 1 spot. Must of been a slow day at the office.

I actually like how you did the flash. There's a lot of jokes that just haven't been used in mario brothers games yet, and you found them. I always wanted to abuse that sun too, since it kept killing me in certain levels (and if you ever played a kaizo hack, you'd learn to hate him with a passion). I don't know why people are rating your thing low but I like the ideas you came up with. Good job!

Super mario bros 3 was one of my favorite mario games. coming with new jokes for the mario series..even though newgrounds has dragged it to hell and back again you still managed to keep it fresh. good job
