Reviews for "Arctic Rush"

72 hour challenge?

If that means that the game was made in three days or less then color me impressed by the fact that it's actually functional. It's difficult the first few times you try it, but it's not broken in any way (at least none that I found). The jumping is a little awkward at first, but I got accustomed to it pretty quick and other players should adjust pretty fast as well (I'd expect). It's not bad and, in fact, pretty well done considering the time limit.

VicBiss responds:

Thank you :D and yes it was definatley made from scratch in 71 hours and 59 minutes, haha

Pretty good

But a few suggestions:

The character moved too slow, if you had sped him up it would have been much better

Randomizing the "attacks" that come at you would have probably been a good idea, instead of you always expecting what comes when.

Also adding some high score API would have been really cool too!

FRUSTRATING!!!

I found this game quite annoying at times but I wanted to win so badly that I just kept playing.

Good concept, rather addicting, but "glitchy"?

I did not like the giant banner that would appear when I came under attack, it blocked my view and distracted me enough that it messed everything up.
There was a couple of times when I'd hit an obstacle and then I would no longer be at the far left of the screen but in the centre or in the far right part of the screen where I would continue to hit every possible obstacle.
I also got into a loop when I feel into a hole, I just kept falling into it, even after I had respawned, possible due to the fact that my speed was rather low.

Perhaps having the obstacles disappear after you bash into them could help?

It was okay, unfinished, but okay.
