Nicely done

It's fun, and there's a nice atmosphere to it. The art was pretty cool, and fitting, and sort of cute. The music is pretty nostalgic, and gives it a nice retro feel. The intro sequence is really neat. And the voice acting is good in my opinion, compared to a lot of Newgrounds stuff. But by my standards, anything that isn't painful to listen to is good. Seriously though, the voices were great. And I liked the sort of echo effect with the intro narration. The key to good voice acting is to be nice and subtle, and to not assault people's ears.
I certainly have to say the programming was lacking, though. A few bugs include how hard it is to position yourself to file through the bars, dialogue with the cannon guard automatically starting up after finishing but without the window, and reentering rooms from the wrong positions. I could've done better, even with the 3-day time limit.

The game had a few bugs, the biggest one being that you're I wasn't able to complete the game: Nothing happened when I walked up to the key and pressed space, even trying multiple times and re-entering the room, etc. Other than that, it was OK. Nothing great, but what can you expect from a 72 hour game? ;)

Interesting!

The plot is fresh, and everything I expect from a good game.
The voice acting was spot on in the game, although the introduction bit was lacking.
Music overall was very nice, and it was perfect for this short of a game!
I had fun playing it, and I would love to see this group continue to make games.

To many bugs, not enough fixes

I can't even get out of the cell. It doesn't let me use the file. I pressed space for 5 min and nothing happened :P

Well, that is fixed, waiting for newgroudns update, please read the description before, also, you can get out of the cell... but not in an esasy way, thats why teh fix

Its allright

The animation was really good... however there are several problems with this flash.
The first time i tried to play i encountered big as soon as i used the file on the bars. the 'space' action disappeared and i was stuck in the room. Not really a big deal but thought i'd point it out.
The game is really, really short, i thought there'd atleast be a boss battle or something with the king but after getting the key it just sorta ends...
The voice acting was ok, if aimed more at a younger audience. i spose younger players would et a bigger kick outta this.
all in all it was ok! the cinematic was good , music and animation, but the voice acting annoyed me and was reallyyyy short. Well done tho guys its not bad!
