Reviews for "Escape from ice mountain"

A bit glitchy

This game is quite interesting, but it's just kind of short and glitchy. It's pretty good considering you only had 72 hours to make this

MonoFlauta responds:

Good, thanks :)

Cool,

A nice quick game between work.
Nice plot, will you be continuing the story line, or advance the game in anyway?
Also, your intro to the game was very similar to Gorillaz - Fire Coming Out Of A Monkey's Head, any connection?

MonoFlauta responds:

Lol, i think that no :P ask redharvest lol but i think that no :P
Glad you like it :)

Buggy and Boring

When I started with this game, I was really excited. I love point and click adventures, I love "escape from the room" genres and I loved the artwork in the game. There was so much going for this game in those first couple of seconds.

But then I played the game itself and it was bad. Really bad. I mean, I appreciate that you only had 72 hours to make this game, but the end result was hardly a game at all. It was boring, it was simple and it was BUGGY.

I encountered every bug under the sun. The game would tell me to press space when I couldn't do anything, there were dialogue boxes that would pop back up after the dialogue was finished, when I left one room I'd often wind up in some weird area in the next room and then there were times when I could use an item but I had to be standing on the exact pixel you had assigned to it or it wouldn't work at all.

Yet, despite all these drawbacks, I managed to beat the game in maybe three minutes. It was just about as challenging as an episode of "Dora the Explorer." In fact, in several instances I felt like I was literally playing a little kid's game. Anything you needed was just laying out in front of you, ready to be picked up. The guards provided no challenge and allowed you to just walk around freely.

In the end, there's not much to like about the game, other than the details. Like I said before, I liked the art and I thought the story had a good premise. But the game itself LACKS severely. I would go as far as to say you guys submitted an unfinished game here. Needs work.

MonoFlauta responds:

Well... we had 72 hours, maybe being so rude with the sequel will be better than with this it hink

Not Bad

Game was good just a little short. Could have spent more time on the game itself other than the cut scenes but i see that they start the base for the story

MonoFlauta responds:

yes... the sequel will be longer dont worry, also, will be less buggy...

Good start!

The team made a great work with art and voices in a very short time. Congratulations.

MonoFlauta responds:

Thanks :)
