I love it!
Difficult, but addictive, and makes you come back for more. That, and I think the use of "Go Tell It On The Mountain" adds a surreal quality to the bloodshed that's happening on screen. Plus the Shark (to steal a line from Adrienne Barbeau in "Creepshow") makes the Shark in JAWS look like fuckin' Flipper!
As some had already said, a sequel would be most welcome. How about from the Shark's pov (like Miami & Sydney Shark)?
