i can tell you worked hard on it you should have gotten a 100 for that assignment but I do question why this is front paged?
graphics+100 (great animation)
sound+53 (an 8 bit loopy song is I think a weird choice)
story+26 (kind of short (could have showed him getting to his destination))

I like this style, i agree that i have never seen anything like this before, i really liked the old nintendo type music im a big fan for stuff like that.

Its always nice to see experimental and creative things. It is those animations that help bring out the uniqueness of this site!
It's the first time I've seen this style of animation on NG. You should definitely keep to this 2D-on-3D style.
