Reviews for "Final Battle"

This is awesome. Reminds me of the track on the last level of Persona 4 Golden. I'm not a very good producer so I can't review well but it goes well with the title. What were you picturing in your head when you composed this? I would love to find out, an old 16-bit game comes back into mind like bionic commando or sonic. This song gets your imagination going. All in all though I'd say it would sound better if it wasn't so fast but its not my place to say really. Anyway have a great weekend dude. Godspeed.

DESHIEL responds:

What was in my head when I was making this? Probably some beatdown where I manhandle my imaginary enemies. ;D

I always believed that to make a fight music, you have to keep up a certain pace. I can't imagine anything good with slow music.

Reminds of a intense action sequence. I can see how this could be used for a final boss, depending on feeling/style of the game. Around 2:28 where it moves to just the kick and bass synth i get a jarring feeling (which may or may not be your intention). Feels like it's off (even though it's not). Probably because the bass doesn't have much of an attack. All-in-All cool track.

DESHIEL responds:

Yeah, it heavily depends on the style and pace of the game. If the game has some kiddie music, then this ROLLS IN. Everybody will be like WTF.

This kind of music is also fitting when you activate some super sayan mode. :D

Well done. I've not heard much from this genre but it's pretty catchy and fun. The kicks sound spot on. Looking forward to hearing more!

DESHIEL responds:

Glad you like this stuff

I feel that this piece is well done and I could easily see it being used in an action-game where you're being chased or chasing something/someone and trying to beat the clock to survive/succeed. However, I don't really get a "Final Battle" sense coming from this track. It's got the energy for a fast-paced beat, but it's missing a component, similar to how a lot of epic battles have a set of chorus vocals going off periodically to add to the seriousness of the tone.

Toy around a bit with adding a little more flair and make it unique and this could be an effective final boss track. Till then, it's still a nice chase music, if nothing else.

DESHIEL responds:

Yeah I agree with both you and kkots about the wrong choice of name.
