I dont see why people say its hard..
I beat like 10 comets without losing any Earth Hp...
I agree that the missiles are a bit annoying but i placed mine outside like near the border of my defense to lower Friendly Fire ratio...

I liked this game. For those complaining about recoil and inability to move ships back: that would really destroy the whole innovation of this game and make it just another "defend your base", a poor one even.
Minor tip: put an autocrat in each of the further 4 corners of the map, they are almost immune to being attacked, and will gradually kill many times their own value in asteroids, occasionally even one-shotting a comet.
More than perfect.
