regular platformer. But could be much better
Liked the 8-bit song. But there are some glitches that really pissed me off:
1º controls are difficult to handle
2º jump button really freaking lacks!!!!
3º those red coins are placed in to much hard to reach locations
consider my points and this game will surely ROCK

I don't know why there's jumping trouble... I've never encountered it.
Non-magnificent
This is one of those games I kept playing so I could understand what made it so appealing that it got the front page. I never figured it out. The basic concept has been done before, several times, and there was nothing special about this game to make me want to play it over any of the multiple games like it out there. There's not even a compelling plot or characters.
However, I do recognize that a lot of my problems with this game stem from it not being my cup of tea. I like platformers, but only when there's something else to do but jump around and get from point A to point B. When the platforming itself is the only aspect of the game, I get extremely bored.
I may have enjoyed the game more had it not seemed like the game was being difficult for the sake of being difficult. Challenging your players is one thing, punishing them is quite another and the more I played this, the more I felt it was the latter category.
Then the controls had to go and be kind of crappy. I can't tell you how many times I died because the game didn't respond when I pressed the jump button. If you're going to do a game where 99% of the challenge is in platforming and timing your jumps right, then you can't have crappy controls, you simply can't. That's unacceptable to me.
So, I gave you a 5, which I think is fair. I gave you more points that I wanted to because I feel my personal tastes effected my opinion. However, I had to give you SOMETHING because the game isn't HORRIBLE, it's just not as great as it could be. With a little more work and maybe a more interesting approach, you could have game gold on your hands.
Fun, but buggy save feature.
I finished the game and died on the last level. So i figured i'd give it another shot with all coins collected, i'd missed one or two. level select didn't work, only showed first level, so i looked at reviews and someone suggested to refresh, which i did. level select then showed that i'd done all levels(i had) and had collected all coins (i had not.) But i seem to have gotten the 'good ending' when i didn't die on the 20th level so idk what's up with that.
