Reviews for "Confession"

Nice work Emid! I love the change you did around 2 mins in, your music never disappoints!

Emid responds:

Thank you so much Mattashi. Your comment mean a lot. Pleasure to hear from you.

Wow Emid, this is fantastic! I really love the groove you have going on up to 1:59, almost like epic funk music. Makes me want to play some bass. The way the bass and drums work together is fantastic. I can't get over how good this section is, actually.

The part following that is very cinematic, but feels a lot less "full" then the amazing start to your track. You could use some bass between 2:00 and 3:18 or so. That would add a lot and really round out the track. That's probably the biggest critique I have of this piece. The only other thing that I would suggest is bringing back the original rhythm and melody (the funky stuff) and reintroducing it near the end.

I really love the choir/cello near the end! It's so beautiful sounding and you still have the pulse of the strings in the background giving the piece consistency. I can tell work went into this - you've done an excellent job! Looking forward to hearing more like this, friend!

Emid responds:

Lovely to see you again.

I agree with you inch by inch. I could have easily introduced bass for the fullness you've mentioned. Don't know why I didn't. Will redo it again. Yes my biggest bet was to return back to the starting 2 minutes patch. I did certainly want to do it. But I couldn't find the work around to merg them smoothly. There is where my creativity ends and your's starts as a pro..... yes I mean it.

I recently downloaded free cello from Blakus and found it amazing. As you are a cello player, you would understand well. And if it is integrated ok in the piece for you then it is good for me and believe me, am tapping my shoulder for that :)

Thank you a lot bassfiddlejones, am really happy to have your attention.

hello there.
just listening now... still listening... still...
pretty decent. good to hear some live elements in tracks around here.
I have nothing bad to say. good job
Px

Emid responds:

No, nothing is live; they are all vsti's.

Thanks a bunch. Glad you listened at least three times :)

Your work is consistently amazing. They are often epic and create great atmospheres, while at the same time having enough good melodies and unique elements to push them above "cookie-cutter cinematic".

I have actually followed your work for a while now, but never left a review because your stuff always sound so polished to me, and there's really nothing constructive I can say about them.

And your dramatic, cinematic style somewhat reminds me of PeterSatera here on NG. You may want to check out his stuff if you don't know about him already.

Thanks for your amazing music and keep up the good work!

Emid responds:

I don't know what to say. You have left the comments that left me speechless. The only thing I can say is thank you for you very kind words. I try to put all efforts in every new project thinking this is my first song which portrays my thoughts at the very moment, hence try to make it sound at least convincing to hear. Peter (and some others) is far more versed, skilled and efficient and I have centuries ahead to catch him.

Thanks again for your uplifting comment, gadogry!

I really liked this music until around 2:46. And then I loved it. This music is very polished and professional.

I particularly like the progression of atmosphere. It is like a good story; it continually gets better, even after the climax, evolving in a way to draw the listener even further in.

Emid responds:

I strive to give a good listening experience. Sometimes I achieve, other time not. Glad it kept you listening till the end. Thank you for your valuable comment. Glad you enjoyed it.
