art is ok but its just plain disterbing really swastica's (Im german but nazi symbol is a dumm term because people forgot the original meaning of it...luck...) and the cutting if its to be funny a 6 is too generous
Different way to look at things.
Its crazy how we can sometimes forget that even the ones we label evil have emotions just like the normal every day person. Its interesting that you chose swastikas (I am allowed to say that because its the proper term and we the Americans help bring the end to Nazi Germany) as your symbol as hatred, however, it would be the most world wide recognized symbol as evil/hatred making it easy to get your point across no matter the dialect/religion or what have you, therefore I find it acceptable to say the least.

Weren't we all innocent and free at one point in our lives? Nothing could take you out of your muse, and you could be as happy and free as you wished.
I believe the star reminded him of that little twinkle of innocence and love within his tougher, more rigid and possibly menacing exterior, and he carved it in his arm to remind himself of that much simpler, happier time...
