Reviews for "Repercussions of Evil"

Never gets old.

This is definitely one of the better versions of the story out there, and I definitely respect that. The voices were excellent, the music and sound effects worked perfectly, and the animation is just... Whoo!

Also, just a couple of things to clarify: One, Squirrelking is not Peter Chimaera's alt. In fact, Squirrelking isn't even a troll: He's French Canadian, which is his excuse for terrible writing. Two, there actually is a fully developed and spell-checked version (search Google for a while and you should find it.) Three, WHEN IS YOUR NEXT VIDEO COMING??!!one I MUST KNOW!!1!!one!!!l

Galneda responds:

Ahh, my mistake for assuming. lol :P

Thanks, thanks, thank you, thank you! Hogabeast and I are working on a Starfox flash now, and then I'll try to churn out some more original work. Expect a new animation by February at the latest :D

Epicness is Epic

I hate to say it, but with a bit of grammar and spell check, plus some actual full on development and this story could be pretty great... Someone email that kid... where the hell is he now? Ah screw it.

Anyway, this was pretty great. Out of all the renditions that I have seen of this I am happy to say that this is by farm my favorite one. I think that you pretty much pegged all the characters and voices perfectly and the animation was well suited for what you were doing. Upload on Youtube plox.

Galneda responds:

That's an excellent question...Where IS Peter Chimaera? Don't be fooled, though...at the risk of sounding arrogant, the cowl of my artwork could be swaying your judgment on the quality of the story.

I shall upload on Youtube! Just give it a while; I'm having some issues with past uploads where the movie clips of my animations won't move in the Youtube version...when I figure it out, and fix the problem, only then will I upload because THIS flash is movie clip heavy.

Thanks for the review!

Great job again

Good job man, you never cease to impress with your grainy, colorful animation technique. The voice acting was hilarious, and I particularly like the saltine walkie talkie. One issue though, there was some sound balancing issues. At some points it seemed like the music drowned out the voice acting. But other than that extremely fixable issue, well done!

Galneda responds:

Thanks for praise, much appreciated. Which parts were being drowned out?

Thanks Justin!

I remember reading this story a while ago.

Thanks for revivng my all-time favorite story and making it seem... good.

Galneda responds:

I figured I'm doing something right if I can change something that's already bad and make it good. It'll be a useful skill to learn if I ever intend to do this kind of thing professionally. You're welcome, and thanks for the review! :D

YES.

I remember when this became my all-time favorite literary piece. Such a deep psychological scenario.

Galneda responds:

lol, I read that analyzation about how it represents the deep struggle of good vs. evil, and the Freudian conflicts with his father. I tried to implement hints of that "deepness" with body language and shadows.

...Oh, who am I kidding, this was a fun sandwich. :D
