Reviews for "Ice Princess(in memoriam)"

SHAT

i was blown away by the beginning dude. wow. loved the melody. loved the title. the high pitched percussion (watever they be) and those chords always somehow relate to ice...cool

actually quite complicated with all the accents and such. the chords were very similar to ff2 if u have ever played that...this was like when you can only see so far ahead of you and the chords of the piano and backround strings plus the high percussion gives a sense of deadly foreboding.

around 1:45, there was the piano part where there are quarter or half notes that are just blocks of power and are the driving force of that part...i absolutely love that. it is my favorite style of music, though not to be used in excess. its just so powerful...when u play it u just want to pound out the notes, but that wouldnt be good lol.

also at like 1:20 or something, i liked the chords. it was like...the anti climax or watever. total emotional death and unexplainable loss.

1:50 were the thoughts of revenge and blame, quickly put out by the piano at 2:02 or something.

omg i loved the powerful angry emotional part...gave me the shivers lol.

anyways! awesome song sorry about the loss dude. a fine song to memoriate. (if thats not a word, u know what i mean lol)

again i just have to say i really loved this song.

sorohanro responds:

thanx for your very beautiful and kind words

Your sorrow can be felt in this work of art

It has that quality of beauty and sadness intertwined. I'm sure your wife was very beautiful; I picture her as I listen to this song. The hauntingly gorgeous melody could not be written for a woman who was not beautiful. Wonderful work.

sorohanro responds:

thanx, she was ... also she was a very good musician, i'll try to mix/master some of the material she left unfinished.
thanx for review

This is actually touching. It reminds me of my Great-Grandma, who passed away the same year you uploaded this song. She was one of the greatest family members I've ever look upon. Her kindness and generosity to everyone was an influence on myself and many others.

She may be gone, but I know I will see her again.
Thanks for making this song.
