Reviews for "Aurora- chapter 1"

wtf!?!

what is it with people advertising useless crap on review spaces!?! Its for the game to be reviewed! Oh and its a really good game. hurry and mak Chapter two please!

Awesome and looks good too

i was really loving this game until i got to the part where i have to take out the first piano paper thing and put in the second one. for some reason the first one wont come out no matter what i click, i watched the walkthrough and its not working for me.

otherwise this is an awesome game, wish it would work for me so i could see the ending.

Having the same problem with the time...

I have set all the clocks to 8 and even looked at the walktrough to see if I was missing anything. The problem lies in the clocks apparently. Just how specific did you make it? Maybe throw in a little larger of a range of what counts as 8:00pm.

Aside from that, it isn't a bad game. Aside from purchasing items to make a bomb, it is relatively straight forward and easy, especially compared to the nearly impossible point and click adventure puzzle. It was enjoyable, aside from having to catch the ending on the walkthrough because I'm not going to walk around town and fine tune all the clocks 30 times to figure out which one is off.

The graphics were nice, better than most flash and the story had potential. The fact that you escape and don't really delve into the local story kills it a bit though. But I would prefer the mystery and "I'm getting the fuck outta here" as opposed to a overly long, poorly written plot of which your character is thrust in the the middle. That being said, it wasn't an engaging enough story to really draw me in. It had potential and I wanted to know more, but I was restricted and unable to even finish the story.

Not bad, I enjoyed it and I would definitly be interested in playing another point and click from you if I bump into it. My only suggestions are to delve a little deeper into the story to give us a little more deserved fear of staying in the town and to provide a bit more leeway when it comes to acute settings, such as making the clock hands jump every number/half number so that it has to land on 8pm or 8:02:50.

good

very good quality game, sometimes a bit criptic.
i am curious to see the sequels

Glitch + Review

I did find one glitch. After I bought a shovel and some other random things, I left the shop and picked the sheriff badge from the inventory, and the lineup of items was messed up and I couldn't put the badge away or click anywhere. The sound still worked so I don't think it just froze. So I had to start over, that was annoying.

But the second time around it was really good :) I wasn't even going to play until I saw that it was from Pastel Games, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. The setting and the art were wonderful, the story was interesting, and there better be a sequel.
