Look in all reality.... this is bad
First off, let me get started by saying I truly enjoy artistic games with deeper meanings other than a few minutes of entertainment. This one however, wasn't one of those. The "deeper meaning" really just felt like hey, life is going to suck and your going to only be able to focus on a few things to have it be semi-enjoyable. It takes a really negative approach to life and what you can/can't do, but in all reality this deeper meaning doesn't apply to life at all. Life can be troublesome at times, and life can be unexpected or "unfair". But in all reality, there will be those great periods in everyones life where everything is just wonderful. This creation really just goes out and says "Life is going to suck. Your going to get very little out of it."
And not only was this "artistic" meaning lacking actually interesting thought or reasoning behind it, but the message behind this game is already so well random. Its difficult to tell what you are really trying to say here, and it has very few real life lessons to be learned if any.
Please in the future (And this apply to everyone who makes these sort of games) if your going to make a small game with an intended deeper meaning, please think more about it and what you truly want to say before thinking of a random thought of how life is bad and trying to run with it. These things take time and deep thinking to create, don't do a slipshod job of it and tarnish the entire genre which is a great one. There are brilliant games out there with beautiful motifs that even make me want to cry sometimes, but this was not one of them.
(Also as a side note I'm assuming the poor controls were intended to show "how little control you have over life" but all they really ended up in doing is just anoying the player and distracting them from any deeper meaning. This doesn't seem to be only my opinion, since numerous people also complain about this. Next time please create something with fluid movement, even if you are trying to say that you have little control over matters in life there are much better ways to do it without distracting from the final overall message.)
