Reviews for "Leo & Satan III"

Great!

Hilarious. I think I laughed the hardest at Satan's "stealth" tactics, and his constant snapping at Leo. "Shut the fuck up Leo." "I didn't say greet it, I said ask it a question!" Those lines were random and funny as hell. I gave it a nine because it wasn't as funny as the first one, and like Saprophyte said, the part with the board took up too much of the flash, which could have had a lot more jokes in it. Great job, still.

Mad Funny!

Never failed to make me laugh!

LOL

Leo: Satan i think your stealth was out the window!
Satan: shut the fuck up Leo....

hey mate,

hey mate, down at the bottom, this is not fun for the whole family.
1. it has a wee gee board in it
2. stfu leo!
3. it almost made me cry.

Almost a Leo and Satan episode

I enjoyed this. It made me laugh more than once and thought it had exceptional art and sound, but what brings this down is some subtle differences from the previous two episodes. Leo and Satan have dialogue between each other that's pretty rude, which doesn't seem in their character's. Lines like "Okay, mom *rolls eyes*" and "Shut the fuck up, Leo" don't fit. However, if this episode happened to get changed to suit them better I'd still keep "Shut the fuck up, Leo" just because it's one of the funnier moments in it just because Satan is usually pretty contained.

What really brings this down is the ending. The whole LUH--LUH--LUH-WEE-GEE board scene takes up 3 minutes of a 5 minute flash. It's not anywhere near as funny as the first 2 minutes, and it while it may not be very long, it FEELS long. Once satan "kills" Leo, it takes a full minute to reach the 3 second punchline. What I'm trying to say is it's too long. WAY too much setup, for WAY too little payoff.

I can tell a lot of work went into this. Definitely pushing for that TV pitch, aren't we. In the end, I don't think it was worth it. The whole 5 months to release this brings me back to what I said about the Leo-death joke; way too much setup for way too little payoff. Reading your News Post/Web Log (whatever NG wants to call it, it's a blog), I'm glad to hear you're going to try to return things to normal.

Now that that's done, it might be time to go harp on HotDiggedyDemon for bukkake'ing the last episode of WGJ4K with melodrama and unfunnyness. I dunno.
