Haven't encountered any bugs yet
I liked it, but is there a way I can go back and play previous levels I have beaten? Maybe I didn't catch it. There are certain things I missed and I want to go back with better upgrades and get the secrets.
Beautiful but Buggy
Sadly there are quite a few bugs in this otherwise lovely and interesting game. In Chapter 3, the platforms that disintegrate do not consistently regenerate after the player dies and comes back-- they remain disintegrated. (Which makes not-dying impossible.) Also, shortly after I overcame the aforementioned bug, I somehow managed to fall into hole in the next area, and then off of the game entirely--I could still see the eagle, but my body disappeared into white nothingness. Then the bird did as well. I am currently staring at a white background while the nice music plays, and I am unable to restart or kill myself.
This game needs a 'Retry' option in the Menu, and it needs serious debugging. But it is really a shame that those small things bring it down, because it's a real work of art.
more of a promising start than a good game
a little slow but it is a great start. the framerate chugs and the speed could be beefed up a bit. make the game a little faster
gameplay is good but...
while the gameplay and visuals were much improved from the previous games (I really liked the level up system) I found the story was somewhat lacking... I really enjoyed the storline of the other games (especially the second one, playing from the villan's point of view was really fun) but the story of this one was basically: There's a new bad guy, he's evil, he's friends w/ the old bad guy, you have to fight them.
oh, and is the main character jesus? what is up with that?
