Great game, BUT!
Defeating the doom machine killed me. That's not so nice, i had 150HP left and BOOM you're dead, while he should have been dead.
Still, loved it until then, so 9/10

Not bad, but really, can't cycle through weapons? I had to play the hacked version to be able to Q and E through weapons. Seriously, is it too much to ask?
The game is really easy, but too hard if no one knows about the health issue. Basically, if you don't learn that upgrading equates to a full heal, you won't make it.
I upgraded to a P90 and then saved all the points and bought the auto shotgun path. Everything was easy after that. But before you get the P90, clicking over and over again to shoot is BULLSHIT. I don't want to wear out my fingers in 5 minutes of gameplay. I'd probably quit if I picked non-automatic weapons like the dual magnums.
But really, no ending? You beat the Doom Machine, and it gives the "AWWWW Our contestant wasn't lucky enough!" crap, the same if you die. Hell, even your Author Comments is completely bland.
The map thing was cute, but it won't let you go left or pick a corner that closes you in. There's no point in moving up or down when you can go straight to the Doom Machine to finish the game.. no incentive, no reward, no decent ending.

i personaly think you should let us change our weapons after we upgrade i got all mine on the first level and only got to use the laser gun witch is killer but i would have liked to use the other guns.

I had a hard time deciding what score to give this game. I like the idea that you are going for here, however, not being able to save mixed with only being able to use the last weapon purchased and the difficulty made it a hard decision. I would have liked to see an auto fire for this because on my PC the rapid clicking and moving around so much made my movement lock up and it got me killed, which ties into the progress save feature this lacks. Over all tho I did like it so after much thought I decided the sequel will probably have this factors worked out and I did enjoy this one for what it was, therefore, 4/5 7/10
