A looooooottttt of work in this game!
We can tell that you put a whole lot a work in the making of this game.
The game is well thought out. Offers a challenge, a nice learning curve. Even if the story is pretty much absent and not captivating at all, the nice increase in skills, challenges and everything else kept me entertained for a long time.
I want to praise you on the quality of the engine! The fights are smooth. I am amazed at how you kept the balance throughout the game (with items + stats + enemy strength, etc.). Thus, your engine seems flawless. Also, the way everything is animated, the artworks, the sound FX, all of that blends perfectly. I can not state enough how the overall quality of the game is impressive.
However, the soundtrack becomes boring real quick. Also, as equally annoying is the fact that you employed a single voice actor for all of the dialogue. Finally, I have to agree with Sensitive Jerk: while the entire personalization of the character is great at the beginning, it rapidly becomes a double-edged sword becomes of its complexity. Maybe it makes sense for you because you know all of the mathematical equations ruling the game... but for a simple player, it doesn't make much sense to have that many stats to improve. Some of them seem redundant. Some of them seem important. Some of them seem so obscure that we just can't imagine why they are relevant. The game is less immersive for the player when he starts questioning himself about the purpose/relevance/effects of all those stats.
Also, the enormous quantity of stats and numbers make for an ugly screen. See, I really admire the complexity of the design but it seems that simpler could be better in that case.
Anyway, you create a great game and the good news is that you can still improve to make #2 even better. That will justify us to sit again and battle through hordes of wrestlers that come from your imagination.
