Reviews for "Ether: Space Defense"

not bad

you should have put in a way to zoom in and out !

Nice, but...

First thing I noticed, this really, really needs a zoom option. There is no challenge to having to scroll about, as it is not a speed game, it is just a frustration.
Also, there is very little re-playability. Even with upgrades, each level is pretty much the same, there is no variety of maps and little variety in towers.

The idea of not having prices but a tower limit is nice and interesting, but on hardcore got kind of annoying, as my towers died too easily without defence, which means I only had 50% of the towers to work with. So nice idea, but could maybe be refined somehow.

All in all not bad, but I have played much better TDs on NG. Even though it was enjoyable I won't be coming back to this one.

A great game.

First off I've gotta say I really like the game and overall it was a very fun experience but one thing got on my nerves. I placed two slowing towers, later in one of my games, one on the left and another on the right. I tried the displacement upgrades, just to see what they were like, and thought they were pretty good until I got down to two lone enemies left that looped infinitely around my base and were continually knocked back by displacement. I had to sell one of the turrets to continue, wasting the money I'd put into it. While I understand that having turrets closer to my slowing towers could have solved the problem A slowing tower isn't too useful very close to the base, where my turrets are the most useful. Maybe I'm just being picky, and I don't really have any easy solution to fix that problem, but I do think something should be done.

Other than that, probably the best turret defense game I've ever played. Congratulations. :)

it needs

i like the concept and i think i will play it again.
the first thing i noticed was that i wanted a function to zoom in/out.
if you dont want to put i right in there maybe as an upgrade for the radar?
the graphics are nice and polished, sound is good and is fun to play
keep it up!

unique

a very different turret defense the enemies come at you in a circle you can place turrets anywhere at no cost for a regular one but the limit kind of bothers me and the game kinda of seems redundant when all you do is just shoot balls out of the sky with no objective at all just shoot
