Reviews for "Pumpkin Invasion"

Okay...not great

I enjoyed the music, and the gameplay wasn't bad, but there were a few problems. First off, the bats' bullets are almost impossible to see. Second, the background is kind of lame, you could have put more work into that. Finally, and I'm not sure if this is intentional, but after you die, candy comes out of the top, as though you've killed a boss. Probably just a glitch.

NipponMonkey responds:

I can see the bat bullets fine, maybe it's a problem on some monitors or your monitor brightness is too low.

The candy explodes out of your spaceship when you die and you lose the bonus points gained from them candies. Your points total can go down quite a lot when you die in Arcade Mode, so you have to be quick to try to collect as much of the candy you lost. It's not a glitch, it's part of the game.

Nice job dude!

really addicting. the colors work really well with the game. it seems really simple but it plays really well and fits perfect with the song. i am really happy u were able to use it. im gonna be stuck playing this for awhile now LOL!

I've got to say I was surprised.

I mean it is actually a pretty well made game. It had a good level of challenge what with the bosses taking up such a mass of the screen and all of those bullets flying everywhere. It had a good visual effect put into the back of it that did actually throw me off once or twice in the later half of it. I mean it's good for a simple Halloween-themed Arcade shooter. The bullet amount though reminded me of this one really infamous PS2 game that had a ship that had to change colours to fit the enemy bullets, and this actually reminded me of that. Good show man.

Zooooom!

A bit repetitive, but proper OOOOld school arcade shooterage with a nice halloweeny feel... Brings back some fond memories

NipponMonkey responds:

Cheers, I was going for an old school feel with loads action and explosions. Yeah, a bit repetitive, but you can finish the whole game in 10-20mins.

thats good

A good way to celebrate the halloween
but could have some change on the background
and instead of a starship could be a vehicle
dunno...
just thinking in something more with
a invasion of pumpkins and bats
