This game is great on many levels. The artwork for the zombies is good and the animation is fluid, the music isnt overbearing, allowing you to concentrate on what's happening in front of you, and the upgrades have a lot of variety and help a ton. What I also noticed is the military's abrasive attitude. Their arrogance is very reminiscent to old school epidemic flicks like the Crazies or Romero's work, which I found to be a nice ode. Now as good as this game was, there were a few problems I ran into. 1: The citizen A.I. couldn't be any more stupid, which was frustrating during the time trial mode and while I wasn't trying to lose RP, 2: There are times when it's almost impossible to avoid abandoned cars, and 3: Some upgrades don't seem to have much impact after fully upgrading, such as the windshield and speed; it seems like it takes the same amount of hits to break the windshield glass fully upgraded as it did when it wasn't and I didn't notice a change in speed after the second upgrade. These minor inconveniences didn't take away anything the game had to offer, though, as I still spent hours enjoying it and trying to beat the story mode(noob). In all, this game brings the mechanics of a car game and the blood and gore of a zombie movie and mixes them together to bring something fresh and new to the table(which was badly needed in the zombie genre).
