Reviews for "The Trader of Stories"

Excellent

Never before have I played a flash game with such an engaging story. Combined with the music and artwork this was highly enjoyable, looking forward to the next one ;)

Superb

The only issue I had was the text while talking to people.
And that was easily overcome.
But everything else; beautiful.
Looking forward to your next piece.

Overall, not a bad game

Visually stunning and wonderfully put together story wise, this is seriously a breath of fresh air for Point N Clicks.

The only reason this is not a 10 is the glitches. I don't have an adblocker installed, yet I had to refresh the page multiple times to get the game to work. (I use Google Chrome)

The second one was that the Drunkard disappeared on me, giving me no way to beat the game.

Minor glitches, but still frustrating. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Beautiful!

This game has such an ethereal, idyllic quality to it. I definitely want to see more chapters in the future, hopefully with a bit of a longer play time or with a few minor subplots in addition. So pretty to play!

I'm impressed.

This is really good for a point and click. Usually point and clicks will have mind-churning puzzles, but the story replaced that aspect nicely.

My favorite thing about this game is that you have to talk to people. In rpgs and point 'n clicks sometimes you have the option to talk to people. Sometimes you might get a sidequest or some not-so-important item. But this game is driven by the story and interaction of the characters within. Few people try to do that. I don't think anyone has done it as well as you have.

It's a great story with great music an adorable style of animation and just a pinch of fantasy to give the game a little life of it's own. I was totally immersed in the design and fantasy of this journey. I especially love that you gave a custom or two between cultures to use in the story.

Still, I can't say this was the perfect game. There were just a few minor things to fix. Some editing, and when dialogue went below the screen the scroll button had to be held down to read all of it. That's it. Other than that....

Make more!!!
