Reviews for "The Trader of Stories"

this was awesome you should mae another

A very good example of a visual novel/point and click adventure mix. The story is original, humble, and with just the spectacle that fantasy demands. What really drew me in is the artwork and the character Myosistis herself.

Still you could have a little more clarity in what can be interacted with.

In response to Bullfinch: in order to get the elixir out of the pot, you need an empty potion bottle to carry it in. To find the empty potion bottle, (SPOILER) go to the "Wayside Inn"/tavern, talk to the bartender, and grab the potion bottle from the shelf behind him.

Game itself: Great game, beautiful atmospheric music, GORGEOUS graphics... actually, I can't even call them graphics, they're really just straight-up art. I think I tried playing this a few months ago, and enjoyed it up until I got stuck trying to make the fire start to create the amulet and potion. (SPOILER: For anyone else who gets stuck here, again the solution is in the tavern-- when you first enter, on the table to the left of the one where the drunkard is, there is a small box you can take, which turns out to be flint. If you use this in the stove, it will start the fire.)

Beautiful game, can't wait to finish the story and then play the next one!

help!!! Every time I try to make the drowned elixir, right after I add the wine, the bottle just stands at the stove top and no elixir comes out. So I'm stuck in the game. :( please fix this. Other than that I love this game and would like to finish it. :)

Very good game. The art is well done and the story is easy to follow. Overall it was simple and very well done. I hope to see more of this storyline soon.
